Amalgamation (Polluted Wasteland) has been removed from the game as of the 8th of May 2021.

- "This enemy has already taken quite a beating, but it can take a lot more!
Look out for the giant boss!" - ―Commander dialogue on Wave 22 (Polluted Wasteland Fallen)

- "Get ready for a GIANT boss!"
- ―Beginning of Wave 22 (Pre-Overhaul, Polluted Wasteland Fallen)
Description
The Amalgamation was an enemy that only appeared in Polluted Wasteland, replacing the Giant Boss. While replacing the Giant Boss whenever it was meant to spawn in Fallen mode in Polluted Wasteland, the Amalgamation was much faster than the Giant Boss while also having 3,000 more health. In addition, the Amalgamation had a constant health regeneration ability, which made it hard to kill without teamwork.
The Amalgamation used to spawn from the Mystery Boss upon its death in Polluted Wasteland Fallen mode only.
Appearance
The Amalgamation's appearance was similar to the second version of the Tank (with even more likeness to the removed Tank 2). It had regular arms and red skin. Its torso was slightly bloated and tumors could be seen on its left arm and back. The Amalgamation had black diamond-plated legs with bones sticking out of its arms. It also had a happy drooling face with red glowing eyes. It had the same walking animation as the Wasted Boss. The Amalgamation emitted healing particles every time it healed.
Strategy
- The Amalgamation is extremely dangerous when it first debuts. Major preparations must be made multiple waves before it spawns.
- High DPS towers are required to take the Amalgamation down. The DJ Booth and Commander help massively.
- The Military Base can be surprisingly good at dealing with the Amalgamation. The Tank and Railgun Tank do massive collision damage, and with enough of them the Amalgamation can be defeated with relative ease.
- This requires multiple players to commit to using the Military Base.
- Slowing towers can be beneficial considering the Amalgamation's fast speed.
- Later on in the game, Amalgamations may still pose a threat, especially when spawned in excess from Mystery Bosses and boosted by Circuits.
- By this point, many high DPS towers, inclusive of Accelerators and Rangers, should have been placed down. There should also be chaining of the Commander's Call to Arms ability, and the DJ Booth boosting every single tower.
Trivia
- The Commander improperly calls this enemy a Giant Boss.
- This is because the Commander's dialogue for Fallen mode was not changed in Polluted Wasteland.
